I'm with Cameron (and some great comments on his post) on this. We need a new political agenda. In fact we need a new human agenda.
I've believed this for a few years. 100 million disenfranchised people led by.....Oprah Winfrey.
That's the best I could come up with, but I thought of it before
Michael Moore did in his book, so I wasn't far off track.
Politics is dominated by a do-nothing centre-right agenda.
That's cool for those who like that kind of thing. But what about the rest of us.
What about the Americans who didn't vote for Bush?
What about those of us who want something different to The Corporation.
What about those of us who are "pro-technology, pro-transparency, pro-euthanasia, pro-republic party. A party
that isn't in the pockets of corporate interests, the unions, or right-wing
Christians".
What about those of us who aren't interested in watching Big Brother.
What about those of us who can see through the Oligopolies that dominate our lives.
What about those of us who don't want to play corporate politics at work.
Many of us can sense a technology led revolution which bypasses these current dominant forces.
But it's not happened yet. Interesting though, that Adam Curry talks about 100 million podcast listeners as the goal.
Just one problem with Cameron leading the party, would be his Aryan Aynian tendencies!!
